A small number of Oaklanders have received a new “forever blue” recycle cart. Over time, the forever blue carts and bins will be rolled out across Oakland. This new blue look aligns with a statewide requirement establishing blue as the color of recycle containers across California. If you still have a gray recycle cart or bin, please keep using it! You will receive communication regarding a larger citywide roll out of forever blue recycle carts and bins in the future.
