The countywide organization StopWaste is hosting a free HHW and mattress drop-off event at the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Materials accepted include: pesticides and garden products, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, paint, electronics & small appliances, propane tanks, medicine, oil, gasoline, automotive fluids, household cleaners and sharps in containers.
