Single Family Homes, Duplexes, Triplexes, and Fourplexes
All Property owners must have adequate garbage service.
Storage: Cans and bins can be stored in your back yard or on the side of your home, but not in your front yard unless they are in an enclosed storage area.
Apartment Buildings
Place garbage cans, recycling bins and dumpsters at the curb or in your front yard no earlier than 5pm on the day before your collection.
Storage: Garbage cans, recycling bins or dumpsters can only be stored in the front yard or on the side of your property if they are in an enclosed storage area.
Maintaining Your Property
Your property is an important asset to your neighborhood. The following will help it look its best:
- Keep your front yard neat and tidy.
- Remove and properly dispose of all yard debris.
- Do not store items intended for indoor use in your front yard.
- Do not hang laundry in your front yard.
- Vacant lots should be properly fenced to deter illegal dumping.
- Vacant buildings must be kept in good condition.
Parking
- Parking automobiles on your front lawn, front yard or sidewalk is prohibited.
- When repairing your car in the front driveway, repairs must be completed within 72 hours.
- Truck and trailers exceeding 10,000 lbs (GVWR) cannot be parked on residential streets.
